Bumfunk is a fictional snowy town residing within an icy valley, surrounded by the forest Rodrick inhabits, and where all other Rodrick & Layla characters live. The Cherry Noble Power Plant exploded, sending the whole small town into a lockdown. The surrounding government gained interest in the location when they began to see mutations on the residents within. Currently, all residents are barricaded within the walls, forced to reside within. Bumfunk is the accepted name after a sign outside reading 'Bumfuck Nowhere' was vandalized into a more family-friendly alteration. The town of Bumfunk is coated in ice and snow throughout Fall, Winter, and Spring, only to clear up in the Summer, revealing a pleasant, cool sunlit valley. Rodrick, while assumed so, is not a threat to the townspeople, but rather tourists aiming to explore these scenic areas.
Although Rodrick's murders are seen as justified to the town, as most have garnered a harsh xenophobia against normal people outside of the town.
Cherry Noble is the power plant that exploded somewhere in Bumfunk's history, killing half the population and mutating the rest. While most characters were unborn, Raylee was alive during this time. This location is outside Bumfunk's walls and is destroyed beyond repair.
The Pizza Place is the local fast food restaurant where various characters work and serve pizza. Characters like Jayden, Layla, and Benson work there, and overall serve as a gathering place for many different characters. It is a red brick building with a flat black roof and chimney on top with a cage attached to it. On the front of the pizza place is a marble frame entrance and a large pizza logo.
Rodrick's Cabin is the living place of Rodrick, Layla, Sox, and Oli. Planted in Forest Snoble, Rodrick's expansive cabin has been depicted a few times as a cozy place where the four sleep and eat.
Forest Snoble is the forstbitten, perilous forest that surrounds Rodrick's Cabin. The trees are very often dead and cold, only green during some parts of the year. In this forest reside many odd creatures such as Gyikes and Elkranes, making the spot an unsavory place for any passerby. The forest serves as the location for Rodrick's cabin, in which Layla is very territorial over.
The Outer Wall is the 70-foot-tall expansive wall that borders the town that keeps every town resident inside, and happens to be the workplace of Rodrick and Sox. For hours at a time, Rodrick and Sox work in the cold, barren tundra that surrounds the Outer Wall to stop and kill any outsiders that may attempt to get in. These kills feed the residents of Rodrick's Cabin.
The Local Park is one of the many locations in Bumfunk that serve as meeting points for characters. The one part of town that stays green and lush for many times a year, with a pond, black-barked, healthy trees, and various benches. The pond in Local Park happens to be where Raylee lives, basking under the water, deep and unseen. This is the location of the swings, which is a dangerous spot if caught between Mother and her swing.
BHS is the high school/middle school that all kids in Bumfunk attend. Every teacher conducts their own unique punishment, and every classroom has a frog poster in it.
Bumfunk High School is also where the "Spooky Room" is. This room is where Aidan stays mainly, and based off the murder shown, and even the bully trio's reaction to the door being opened, Aidan is not one to be trifled with. The Spooky Room is a black void that can be altered entirely at Aidan's will. It can change color(ex. white), spawn objects(ex. chalkboard), and remove them(ex. Avery's corpse).
Diva's basement is a once occuring scene that presumably took place here. It's a dark grey basement with various fishing-themed items ranging from a fishing rod, steering wheel table and wall-mounted harpoon gun. In it's appearance, Cheeto and his friends are seen hanging out playing craps.
